Meet 2019’s Supporters

As you know we do things a little different round here. We don’t do traditional sponsorship, but that doesn’t seem to stop folk getting stuck in, and becoming supporters of this paraplanner community. But we can’t help but be a little curious – ok, just plain nosey – to know why they do. So we thought, let’s just ask them…

Aegon – Chris Hubbard, Head of Platform Implementation
“We’re proud to support the 2019 Paraplanners Powwow, our third year of working with the team. We work very closely with paraplanners and administrators on a day to day basis and supporting the Paraplanners Powwow is a great way for us to add value to this growing and important community. We’ve also created our paraplanner zone. It’s dedicated to keeping paraplanners up to date with industry news, tools and technical help, as well as CPD resources. Working together, we can help you get your clients closer to their financial goals.”

Ascentric – Rachel Allen, Head of Digital Transformation
“We’re delighted to be supporting the Paraplanners Powwow in 2019. Paraplanners are the backbone of Adviser firms and by working with the Paraplanners Powwow we want to provide you with knowledge – and get the opportunity to hear first-hand what would help in your role and how we can deliver that for you. The Powwow is all about getting paraplanners together to fix, learn and share and we are keen to play our part in achieving that ambition.”

James Hay – Damian Smyth, Head of Strategic Account Management
“We really love being a part of a community which is really an integral sector within the industry.”

Want to hear more from the horse’s mouth? Ok, not the Powwow horse, but Damian from James Hay…

Just – Gary Eastell, Strategic Account Director
“As one of the UK’s leading providers of later life solutions, Just are delighted to be working with Powwow in 2019. At Just, we recognise the retirement journey is changing. With our range of relevant and insightful content and tools, were ready to support your on this journey.”

Octopus – Victoria Barber, Strategic Partnerships Manager
“Octopus is proud to be working with the Powwow community this year, because of the vital work that paraplanners and technical paraplanners do. As a business we want to further extend our support to paraplanners and see our partnership with the Powwow as an excellent way to do this.”

7IM – Jamie Evans, Business Development Manager
“We believe Paraplanners are the heartbeat and the future of our industry, why wouldn’t we support them!?”

Transact – Jonathan Gunby, Chief Development Officer
“We are pleased to be extending our long-standing support for paraplanners by sponsoring Powwow for the 7th consecutive year. Paraplanners form an essential role in the provision of quality financial planning.”

That’s a lot of paraplanner love right there!
